found snake before knew it was lost!!

brick1 Jun 21, 2008 10:45 AM

had a pile of waterbowls etc from yesterday that was cleaning out today, about 10 of them in a big plastic tub, full of water and moss and crap basically. Got down to the last one, and underneath in the water was one of the pearls!!! certainly made me jump a bit, as was the last place i expected to see a snake Did a good check, and everyone else was in there tubs. Really means have to get a better system, and straight away, i have had 2 escapes in 2 weeks, both pearls, and given the size of them, its unbelievable that they have been found so easily.

cheers

Congrats on finding it/them so quickly!!!! Like you already said, NOW is time to fix the problem BEFORE it happens again. Sometimes babies that escape are never found again.

I found my male rainbow boa in my toilet one afternoon..didn't even know he escaped..for a minute I thought I had just 'found' somebody else's escape pet...no such luck... it was my male, I didn't close the lid of his cage securely enough.
