not a king but...

Here's another one of the "projects" Texas longnose from JimWells county. My wife wanted a "pretty" snake of her own, complaining of all the empty handed road cruises so I got permission from a land owner that was dozing some property next to a highway to look around. Sure enough, I flipped this little guy next to the dirt road inside the fence under a fallen chicken coop or rabbit hutch from days gone by. He even let me relocate some material for future takes. I love it when they say "Take 'em all!" I got this little fellah going pretty quickly with only one scenting with ground skink.

Very nice-Rhinocheilus are a personal fave...

But I'll REALLY be impressed if you breed it and get all the hatchlings on pinks!

Sweet that you got that TX Rhino eating rodents. The few CA Rhinos I've come across and heard about wouldn't touch 'em, and I didn't have the time or patience to fool around for a year trying to convert them. Maybe one day. Til then I'll just appreciate them like on the road.

When they are yearlings and older it isn't hard at all, I never scent adults, but the hatchlings...? Well, probably as hard as some North American milks at least!
