Can this be normal, he is acting slower and just sitting there with his eyes closed, has anyone have any ideas? Plus should i get another plant other then a ficus?

If he's sitting there with eyes closed during the this is a sign of illness and that he's in bad shape. We need a lot more info on how he is kept, what range of temps in the cage and during day and night, humidity levels, diet, gutloading type, what dusts and how often, his age (young fast growing chams shed more often), how long you've had him, what type of lighting (be specific please) and for how long each day. Is he wc or cb? Where did you get him and what keeping info did you get with him? It is very hard to take a guess at what is wrong without more info.

His started to move now normally maybe i just panicked, his 5 months old he lives in a 25 gallon reptarium, theres a ficus and a china doll plant a dish for food i feed him crickets, mealworms and sometimes 1 or 2 moths i use a dripper and i mist aleast 4 to 5 times a day he has a basking light and everyday i take him outside for some real sun rays for aleast half an hour, the temp is around 82 to 87 but i turn off the light at night. i dust his food with vitamins and minerals every other day i also feed the crickets fluckers thirst quencher and fluckers grain i put in fresh fruit and veg with the crickets. I got him from kammerflage kreations i also have a female with him but i have read that you can keep these species together in a big enough enclosure, they are both CB. He is acting well now maybe he was just relaxing his climbing on the plants and sides of the enclosure. Do you own the same species? can you give me some advice on how you keep yours?

If you got him from Kammerflage check with them as to temps. Sounds a bit high to me. My fischeri preferred the general cage temp lower, but the basking spot in the 90's. They need a temp drop at night by at least 10 degrees. I don't have fischeri at the moment, but know they prefer humid and a bit cooler. As long as they have a warm basking spot they can move in or out of the heat on their own. Make sure there is lots of cover...if you have trouble finding him in the cage it is about right. This could be stress from being watched too much. They really love flies so look into Grubco's housefly cultures. You can get them as pupae and hatch them out fairly easily. Gutload them and release a couple dozen in the cage at a time...he'll enjoy the hunt! I've heard you can keep some fischeri together, but only in large cages (I wouldn't do it in anything smaller than a 5'x5'x5' cage myself). Again, check with the Kammers. They have been producing cbb fischeri and will have better info on their cage tolerance. Fischer's are neat chams and very beautiful.
