Question regarding Cape Yorks

Reptyle Jun 22, 2008 12:42 AM

Hello,
I'm primarily a ball keeper, but I may "inherit" a Cape York Spotted Python soon...I was wondering about appropriate enclosure size for this kind of snake?

I keep my ball pythons in sweater box racks, but don't know if that would be suitable for this species? Any help, guidance or sources of info. and care that you can guide me to would be appreciated.

You will be fine to house them in the same size enclosures as your ball pythons. Very similar in length but don't get nearly as big around.
