Bee or Superpastel?

jespythonz Jun 22, 2008 09:15 AM

Ok, so I have an adult female pastel that is now breedable. My question is, should I wait just a few more months and breed her to my pastel male or should I wait like close to a year and then breed her to my spider male. Yet another option would be to wait until both are ready to breed and then breed her to both.
I know a lot of you will say, breed for what you want, but the thing is, I like supers and bees just the same! But which option of the three above would you guys choose? I don't care about how much I'll make, but what you would do?
Any comments are appreciated in advance.

how small is you spider male?

i would wait and breed them both to her. it will open your doors for more morphs.

that's if you can wait the extra time.

Thanks for the advice pitoon. My spider male is about 150 grams at the most. He's an 08. I'll start feeding him pretty well, but I won't powerfeed him. I haven't had him too long but right now he seems to be a voracious eater, so I don't think I'll have any trouble getting him up to size very soon.
I think I'll wait and breed both and maybe I'll get a super and a bee.
Thanks for the advice.

I would wait untill both are ready. Plus it will give your female a chance to bigger. With a bigger female you may get an extra egg or two increasing your odds of getting both your bee and super.
