OK. so i went to Petco to get some rat water bottles a few days ago and as usual i have to look at the reptiles and fish. Well, after walking through the fish i went to the reptiles and saw a Lavender kingsnake who had about 1/5th of its body in another tank!! they use little slide in dividers to divide the tanks and the king pushed its way through to the other tank which held a water dragon. The poor thing probably smelled a lizard and was hungry. so i ran around to the other side of the store where i found a girl with a Sonic cup in her hand. I asked if she was clocked in from break and she said not yet... and asked why? I told her the baby king snake is about to kill himself!!! So she ran to the snakes and screamed for help. Her and another girl had to poke and prod and pull him out of the other tank!!! All the while the water dragon is just sitting on a branch watching all the commotion(he just had a small water bowl for the water). Anyways when they finally got the snake loose the first girl told me the snake probably has a death wish b/c earlier it had gotten into a milksnakes cage and the Milk was eating the king!!! So the king had to go into the back room to heal and was just recently put back out for sale. I didnt have any money on me b/c none of my hatchlings have eaten 3 times and i wont sell them until they do. So i blogged about it and a VERY good friend Mike H. who is now into amazons (used to be in corns) helped pay for him just to get him a good home!! So a few days later i picked him up. the retail was $164.99, but i got it for $82.50. Isnt it great that reptile people look out for one another!?!?!?
And what do ya'll think of my new little munchkin!?!?! It's actually a lot darker lavender color than my picture shows, but isnt it cute!?!? Ya'll think its just an albino or a lavender???

thanks for looking!~
