Yellowisch and green egg

semina Jun 23, 2008 04:27 AM

I like to show a picture of my eggs. Can someone give me advice? I used to
get perfectly white eggs and this time one egg with a yellowish patch, with
a slight bit of green around it. The veins look perfect. Is there anything I
should do? Apply anti mould powder? Thanks.

You could dust it with anti-fungal powder if you wanted, but as long as it has veins I would leave it alone. If you do decide to dust with the powder... a little goes a long way and only apply it to the area with the mold.

In my experience, mold won't kill a living egg. Just keep an eye on it.

As far as the misshapen end of the egg goes... again, nothing to worry about. Much stranger looking eggs have hatched perfectly healthy babies.
