I was reading about sanzinias (your pics were the first Ive seen) and was very interested in them. Are they very rare and / or expensive? Stunning pics by the way, I especially enjoyed the anery.

The Sanzinia pair is a new acquisition. Guess you can tell I'm happy with them. Never had them before, so I can't speak to the issue with much authority. Here is what I think I know about them - They come in Mandarin and Green Phase. Mandarin are generally more commonly available and slightly less expensive. Babies are generally red. They go through an ontogenetic change to either brown or green after about a year.
There are several currently offered for sale on the "Classifieds".
This pair of Greens I've got are the best I've ever seen. They are doing fine so far, feeding on either adult mice and/or frozen/thawed small rats from tongs without hesitation.
Maintaining them like Chondros. Maybe not quite so damp. They may like it a little cooler. Just my guess on that. They do use a hide box and a perch. This male and his sister are c.b. 2006's, I believe. They have not attempted to bite me so far. Super cool snakes.
