It's the name that Frank Martin gave to either the snow arabesque or moonglow arabesque. I never did hear the outcome of whether it was a snow or a moonglow.

Bill Kirby and his son (who had passed before it happened) had planned for what is now called the Moonglow.

I think they expected to produce them sooner than most, but things happen.

After Mark Miller named the Moonglow, Bill then used the Avalanche name for the animal believed to be the 'moonglow' arabesque, which resulted from a joint litter between he and Frank Martin.

That's what I remember, it's been a long day...

The animal Frank and I produced is at least a snow Arabesque and people who have seen it feel it is also a hypo making it an animal that expresses 4 different genetic traits.
The name was meant to be a progression with the names snow and blizzard already being used. I produced triple hets in 03 but as Joe said things happened so I was not the first to produce a hypo snow boa.

Bill,

Any updated photos of the avalanche? I would love to see how it is turning out.

Thanks,
Matt
