yellow rat snake.

Here is a photo of my wc yellow ratsnake. He was treated at the vet. for parasites and given topical antibiotic for a nose rub.
He is healing well and has had two meals since the treatements. So far has held down the meals. He still hasn't shed but is getting cloudy. I'll get another photo after he sheds.

It was purchased from sunshine serpents I believe he said it was from south Fl. It has a definite orange tint and is about 5.5 ft long and male.
By the way your yellow rat is beautiful.

Okay,....thanks!, being from further south would certainly explain the orange tint you mentioned.......is that a pic of it when it was a youngster?, if so, it looks like you've had it for a good time.

BTW,....thanks for the nice compliment on mine!

HI,,
yes the entire forked part of its tongue is orange. Buddy.

Hi Doug,
No that is a hatchling I had a couple of years ago. It was traded for something. Here is another photo of the big yellow rat I've had about 2 months now. He bit the crap out of my thumb today when I got him out to clean his cage. He was taming down some but he is cloudy now so he is more defensive. I'll use gloves the next time. Buddy
