tomorrow. The 24th of June is "Take your Pet to work day" so I'm taking one of my cornsnakes. ^_^ Maybe I can educate some of the people I work with. Three of the others said they're bringing their dogs, but they're small. I'm going to have his travel bag with me, so if he gets too stressed out or cold, I can tuck him in the bag into my shirt and let him chill out nice and warm and dark. Fortunately, I only work for five hours a day, generally, so he won't be out of his tank for long.

Anyone else thinking about taking their snakes to work? ^_^

I dont work.... the only work i do is reptile rescue and breeding my reptiles... so i guess i'm already taking my pets to work... ALL of them!!! I have 13 cats, 3 dogs, around 80 snakes(including hatchlings fresh out of the egg), Leopard geckos, 11 birds(1 is a few weeks old), 17 rats(just had a litter), 2 turtles, a mini bearded dragon, fish, anoles, a rescue male Iguana, and i'm sure i'm forgetting a few things... but they keep me busy!!! does that count!?!?!?!

Hehehe... I'm sure that counts. I have a full time job (2 toddlers) AND the part time job at the tv station. The cool thing about my work is that if I take the cornsnake in, they'll probably put him on tv. ^_^

Okay, he's at work with me. Biggest issue so far (aside from the female morning anchor being scared of him, bah!) was that he smelled one of the dogs that someone else brought, and got a little upset about it. I put him back in his travel bag and took him out of that room. He's relaxing next to the warm computer I'm typing on now.

I'll keep you guys posted, but I'm determined to get the anchor over her fear of snakes.
