Good looking boxies! A friend of mine who lives in Sarasota, FL just had a pair given to him. I couldn't tell male from female with them for the life of me. The one he claims is the female has the most beautiful reddish-orange face and BRIGHT red eyes. The male is kind of dull looking. They're nothing like Terrapene Carolina Carolina. I picked up the male and he immediately went into his shell. The female was a little bit better, coming out after I talked to her quietly. When I found my male eastern about 2 weeks ago, he just sat there in the passenger seat looking around.
