I currently have a Jungle female who is 4 feet and eating small rats easily. I don't know exactly how old she is, but I have had her for a little over a year. I didn't know how old she was when I got her, but she was 28 inches long and apparently being fed once a week. I have continued feeding her once a week, switching her to small rats from 2 mice a week about 6 weeks ago(she is also a bottomless pit; I have never seen her not want to eat more and more!).
I know for a fact she is a female, and I'm thinking of breeding her in the future to a very good looking and quite florescent[sp?] male my friend doesn't have room for anymore(he is soon to be mine). The male is roughly 5 feet, so I'm pretty sure he is old enough to breed...but I would love to hear the positive and negative reprecussions of breeding snakes, especially Jungles. Anything helpful is greatly appreciated, since I am obviously a total novice.
P.S: I'll try to post pictures in a day or so, if anyone wants to see either snake.
