Hypomelanistic and Anerythristic???

Xenobi008 Jun 24, 2008 01:48 PM

I have problems finding out what the two terms show in alternas. I really want to know though, but was never able to find out myself. Can anyone show me a good example of these two? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

So are you looking for a double-recessive homozygous "ghost" or an anery and a hypo (separate single mutations on separate snakes)?

Here's a Sanderson Anery.

Yeah I was looking for a snake that displayed hypo and another that displayed anery killer snake by the way!

It looks like anery lacks black, but I'm just taking a shot.

Hypomelanistic animals have a reduced (Hypo) amount of Black (Melanin). And, Hypermelanistic animals (including people) have increased (hyper)amounts of melanin.

Anertheristic animals have a reduced amounts or lack of red pigmentation..
