Any One produced a Brown Super Motley?

RTC Jun 24, 2008 02:07 PM

I have been studying the two Hpomelanistic Motley to Motley
litters to find a few of the supers have no black pigment.
They are totally brown I would really like some feed back on this.
Also has anyone else produced Supers from a Hypomelanistic Motley breeding that has gone full term?

Looks like a macklots python in a way. Here's an old pic, he's doing great and I could take recent pics, but ask anyone that knows me I hate taking pics!

I think it could be possible that the Brown Supers from the
Hypo Motley breedings are Hypo Supers we produced a total of 7 supers from the two litters and it looks like three are brown in colour.
We also had a normal motley two motley litter where we produced
4 supers all looked normal.

I think it is a case of waiting to see how they colour up and
if they prove out when I breed them back to a normal Motley
if we get HYPO in the litter it looks like the hunt for the RED DEVIL could be over only time will tell.

Thanks for looking

It crossed my mind when you showed pics of what looked like bad odds. Maybe you are the first to something there! hopefully they get lighter with every shed and become distinctly different from their black siblings. Congrats again

Super looking boas! Is it possible they could be hypo super motleys, or...... Super hypo super motley??

It would make sense that it is the hypo super motley, but I wonder if it is just a variation of a regular super motley due to the coloring of the parents. Remember Jeremy's first super motley was purplish in color.

Plus, the premature hypo super motley Jeremy produced was bright red and was only 10 days premature. Here's a link to that picture.

Very Interesting!

Peter, I see what you're saying. Being that it's brown, hypo or not, I bet it goes though many color changes. If it is a Hypo Super Motley, I'm sure it will and can't wait to see the color phases it goes though.

Great observation and keep us posted!
