questions about boas

ryantholen Jun 24, 2008 04:13 PM

This might be a stupid question but what do the numbers mean before the name of the snake mean. 0.0.5 Nicaraguan Boas. Also can anyone tell me a little more about the boa genes. Like what traits are Co-dominate and so on. And I have a salmon boa if I bred her with an albino boa what wil I get? Thank you

Hypo to albino will produce 50% normals het albino and 50% hypo het albino

Thank you that helped. What do you cross to get sunglows?

Breed one of your hypo het albino children back to the albino parent or to another hypo het albino or het albino sibling. Hypo is co-dom or dominant depending on who you ask(either way it is a visual mutation in its heterozygous form) and albino is recessive
