Has there been a picture of the Imported Snake that made these? Curious to see the father.

These are beautiful examples of this gene. Are they compatible with the other lines?

I have been friends with Gary for the last 10 years or so and have personally seen the original male and some of the offspring. I am not a ball python expert but would have to say that the line is hands down one of the best out there. As far as compatibility with other lines I do not know, but I do believe he has crossed it into a graziani pastel to make black pastel pewters.

The anwser is yes for some and no for others. First I think 3 times is a bit overboard its more like two possibly 2 1/2. Second not all of the Liesen pastels are that much. Look at the normals for example, they sell for what $12.00 but people will pay $150.00 for one with a non genetic stripe, whats that over 10 times as much. I think it is up to the individual to decide if they want to pay _________ for a specific ball. Its all a risk and everyone is trying to get something new or a little different. That is what those blacks are, just a little different and maybe something new some day. Look at that snake, theres something different about her in comparison to every other black I have seen. But thats just my opinion.
