a little concerned...

today i fed my collared a grasshopper, it was the first thing i gave him other then crickets. the grasshopper was really big, after he ate it he closed his eyes and then they suddenly bulged out really far, i thought he was going to explode from eatting the giant grasshopper, took him about 3 minutes to get it down...

I wouldnt be too worried. I have never heard of exploding crota's.

Furthermore in the wild they eat other lizards on a regular bases.

They are used to big prey. right now he is probably happily digesting

When Bonita gets sand in her eyes she bulges them to push out foreign materials. It is really weird the first time you see it, even weirder the second time. Maybe the grasshopper leg or antennae got by her eye. Coolareds are so weird sometimes.
