caving eggs...

razyrsharpe Sep 02, 2003 07:20 AM

i have three eggs that were laid July 19th. they were doing great until about 10 days ago when i noticed a small dent in each one. at that time i checked the moisture, it was fine. i then changed the soil they were incubating in, making sure not to turn the eggs. after checking this weekend, the indentations have increased to about 25 or 30% of the surface of each egg. is there anything else i can do other than wait to save these eggs? thanks.

Just make sure to keep the media moist, but not the eggs. Also, give them every chance. If the eggs rot, get rid of them, otherwise, I'd give them a full 120 days before giving up on them.
