Strange behavior???

leo_lover07 Jun 25, 2008 05:17 PM

I have a hatchling who seems to be digging in its plastic hide. It digs up the damp papertowel then continues to try and dig through the plastic. Iv'e only seen this behavoir twice but im sure it does it when im not around. Anyone else seen this behavior in hatchlings???

Make sure the container has a dark lid. otherwise it is natural. Keep in mind that your wet hide is a simulated moist burrow and is not as deep as a real one though it is still sufficient. If you have a lay box that is a foot deep your geckos will dig all the way to the bottom to lay their eggs too
