light for boa

I just made a cage for my boa but it doesn't have much light. I can see him in their but it is pretty dark. How much light do boas need?

They don't "need" any special lighting, just a photoperiod. If the room has a window they'll be able to tell the dif between night and day.

His cage only has a small window and only lets in a little bit of light, is that fine?

I just use facility lights the cages don't have individual lighting.
