maybe the water is too warm/cold?
Or is it too deep?

Think it may be too cold, its no colder than 70 degrees though and isnt that a good temp? He seems to be on the rock in th emornings at like 10, when i get back to my room hes usually in the water thats at about 12 or 1, and he usually stays in till night and so the pattern is rock at night water at day, but when hes in teh water he just floats around, and when hes on the rock he usually just sits there, sometimes he goes to the waters edge and sticks his head in.
