rattlers in NC

I'm looking for a place preferrably near or closest to harnett co. were I can find rattlers.

Not exactly what you asked, but I believe all species of rattlers (pygmy, timber, and eastern db) are protected in NC.

Sorry I don't have specific locations for ya.

Head east or south. There are no rattlers in Harnett County.

Like another person said. They are protected in NC. I know, becuase I live there. Yes some folks here in NC do keep EDB's etc. and seem to get away with it, but I'm not risking seizure of my entire venomous collection becuase of one protected snake.

Also it doesn't matter if you aquire the snakes outside of NC either. It's a NO GO. Permits are available, but those are never issued to hobbyists.

I dont know about you guys but I find it irritating that some bureaucrats decide what animals you can and cant pursue as a hobbyist.
