just saying hi...

hyporainbowboas Jun 26, 2008 02:46 AM

I have not been on the forum in months, and I thought I would poke my head in to say that although i have been fantastically busy recently (working two jobs; BP alternative energy doing environmental assessments of proposed wind energy projects, and Northrop Grumman doing endangered bird surveys of military bases in central texas); I have had a good year with the snakes. I just hatched out two clutches of 75% jungle jags and am patiently awaiting five or six rainbowboa litters.

It will be fun as always.
Hope the rainbow crew is well.

Best wishes to all.

Those sound like extremely rewarding jobs---and it sounds like you're also having a rewarding year with your snakes. Congrats on the jungle jags and best of luck with the rainbow litters!

I am still working with a few BRB morphs, but have really started to get into carpet pythons again. The whole maternal incubation thing is awesome. I really want a zebra jungle. I have some awesome Jungle jags, some awesome andrew Hare jungles, some really hot jungles and Irian Jayas from ReptilicusReptiles, and other oddball carpets. I will probably be getting some granites this season, and am eyeing the zebras, but will probably have to wait a year or two before i can afford them.

Do not think I fed my females enough after the baby season last year, which is why production will be down. Next year should be awesome because i will have several females who got 2008 off.

Hope everyone else is doing well as well...
