My female albino is over 2.5yrs old and 900grams. Is this a proper weight? Any tricks on getting a mouse feeder to start taking rats?
Thanks in advance

Condition of a snake is never easy to judge by weight alone. Post a picture if you can.
Have you tried throwing a rat in there?
I kid. What makes you think she won't eat rats?
I breed rats so I have have offered various sized rats at different times during the day. I have also tried p/k and f/t rats, and I have tried rubbing a rat on a mouse to get the scent.
She always holds out for live mice...or doesn't eat at all.
She is in a 20gallon aquarium, 95F surface temp on one end, 80F on the other end. She has a tight hide, fake plants, and 2 trees to make it feel tight.
The picture is of her sitting on my laptop from 15minutes ago.

It's hard to tell but it looks like she may be a bit on the thin side. Have you tried scenting your rats with mice bedding? Will she take multiple mice on feeding day?
