Took a few pics of these girls today out in partial sun.

It was interesting to see how they looked in comparison to eachother.

This girl is an '07 (Yearling) F1 Cyclone

This girl is an '08 F2 Cyclone

This year didn't have anything go (the move I think contributed) but hoping this coming year will see several good litters.

I keep hoping the wife will let me buy something else to add, I was eyeballing one of the cyclones you had up earlier in the year... she said no and hit me with a rolled up paper

That has to be one of the coolest patterns I have seen in a long time, very different and nice and colorful. I am sure they are MUCH more colorful in person as most boas usual are when you see them in person and compare to the pictures taken of them.

What type of inheritance is involved in the genotypes of these animals ?

I opened my mouth and out flowed a melody black.

The Cyclones have proved to be 100% heritable in the first generation...I am still not 100% clear that it is a single gene mutation or a polygenic trait....So far though it seems to be acting in co-dominant fashion. Here are a couple of the Cyclone pos. Super Hypos....
