how much to feed.....

pet_lover Sep 02, 2003 09:35 AM

I just got large & medium silkworms, butter worms and super worms for my cham. He is about 8 monthes old. I still have crix, but I want to feed mostly worms.
how much should he have a day/week?
I know superworms have more fat then silkworms, but less then wax worms.
Please help, I don't want a fat veiled and over feed him.

here's a good guideline. he should be getting around 6 large crickets a day, so just equate the other bugs to large crickets. a super worm would be a couple of crickets, so would a good size silkie. when he reaches 12 months old, you may want to feed every other day or so. take a look at my site on the bottom of this page, i have detailed info on feeding and care on "Veiled Care".
