So I've been thinking about building a new enclosure for my Uromastyx, but I still have a few things I need to work out with the design.
Dimensions (inside) will be 6' x 27" x 24"
What does everything think of this design? The top enclosure has a hinged hood (the front 1/3 of the top and the 6" tall front opens for easy access) ( 6" height)
The bottom has a 8" flap for access.
So I am thinking of using MVB's instead of the florescent uvb I have now. I am also unsure of what additional lighting will be needed, but I was thinking of using the energy saving house bulbs. How would I wire those to keep it safe and to fire code? If anyone has maybe a picture or description of how they have done it that would be great.
As far as wiring goes, I want to keep everything to code, to keep the enclosure safe for my Uro as well as myself.
