Rained a little in central and South Texas last night so went out for a little drive to see what was moving. All I found was a bunch of these - Couch's Spadefoots and about 12 gartersnakes out looking for the spadefoots (as seen in the next post).

Found two AOR Checkered Garters feasting on the road fodder last night and one DOR Garter that had been feeding but was interupted by the Goodyear monster. This one obviously didn't care that his meal was squished all over the road. Sorry for the poor quality but the pic was taken from inside the vehicle due to the rain.
