Well, it's time for a new, permanent cage for my Burm. She is breaking 8ft now, and her present cage is in poor condition. Water damage sucks! Anyways, I have a price range around $400-$500, and BoaMaster and AP make great looking 8ft cages for about that price. I am just looking for feedback on each, as they are made from different materials and are built differently. Any additional comments are welcome, too.

AP's T70 is a great enclosure. Freight will bring it to around $750.

I agree- the animal plastics cages are wonderful!! the shipping is kinda crazy.... but still... wonderful!

When I was going through this decision, I went back and forth between the two and just couldn't make up my mind for like....months. In the end, the thickness of the AP cages won me over (1/2" vs 1/4" for heavy pythons).

In the long run, for the two cages I was ordering, the price came out about the same. Actually, I'm thinking of BoaPhile here, where shipping is included, but getting the matching screws, etc is an additional cost. I did look at BoaMaster as well, but I couldn't fit an 8ft cage in my room. Sounds trivial, but all things are considered when selecting a cage! I've been very happy with my AP cage, the black is contemporary and attractive in my house, it's easy to clean, and the thickness is durable.
