USDA minimum age requirements for...

transporting animals.

For all of you that obtain or breed feeder rodents, this law will affect you if it is accepted/passed. It would basically make it very difficult to ship or transport pinkies, fuzzies, rat pups, etc.

Please take a minute and read this, and comment if you like:

do I need a permit if I want to sneeze?

colubridman Jun 27, 2008 08:41 PM

I don't know about for sneezing but they are considering one for farting from what I understand. If you don't have the proper license you can be ticketed and fined for excessive methane release. Also for increased self combustion hazard to the public. The MAN is tightening the leash slowly but surely. LOL

I don't know if laboratory mice and rats qualify as "wild or exotic animals." I'd tend to think not, but you never know with the U.S. government.

That's very interesting. Is there a minimum age for transporting humans?
