"Better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open mouth and remove any doubt!"
I had an animal out last night showing a friends little girl who was "afraid" of snakes like her mommy.
Of course it was obviously taught because inside of ... oh .. Ild say 30 seconds she was over standing right next to me in awe.... 30 more seconds she was touching it and acting like she didnt like it ... 30 seconds later she was putting her hands underneath its belly...
.... 60 seconds later she was holding it by herself ... another 60 and it was wrapped around her shoulders ..... things were going good until the little brooksi decided to Sh*t all down her shirt front and back! LMAO ...
2 steps forward one step back I guess
haha, yeah but this was out of his skin, halfway down the snakes body....i thought they let out waste out the back haha

**** So now instead of just generally disliking snakes out of ignorance,....she now strongly hates them with a passion from her only encounter,....and now wants to kill every one she sees!..hahaha!......bet she just LOVED the smell too!..

haha .. yes, I was worried about that as well but I let her hold a different one she thought was "pretty" and all turned out well .... as far as I could tell
Back in the early 80's, I had a pretty big Burmese Python that I had ever since it was a neonate(Upscale, I bought it at Doctor's Pet Center in the Lauderhill Mall). Well, I was at a friends house with the snake that I frequently visited, and the Python was about twelve feet at the time. My friends family always knew that I was into snakes, and never really minded too much if "Junior" the Python visited either, as long as I kept a close eye on things.
Well, we were sitting around the pool patio sipping down some "brewskies", and someone asked if such a large snake could swim. I replied,...sure they can!, all snakes are very good swimmers,......here, I'll show you!. So I slowly lowered the big python into their swimming pool and everyone watched in amazement at just how effortless the big snake glided through the water.
Everything was going well, when I started to see a HUGE, MAMMOTH sized "plume cloud" of feces being released by the big python into their swimming pool!..LOL!,.....well, needless to say, my friends parents began giving me some very unfriendly looks,.....so I quickly grabbed the nearby leaf skimmer pole that was laying close to the pool, and began to sift all the solid feces I could from the pool!,.....man!,...I was able to retrieve only a little of what was released in the pool.
I tell ya,....looking at it from under water, it was mind-blowing at the elephant-sized amount that came out of that snake!!,...needless to say, my friends parent's never allowed the snake to come over again after that day!,...and they didn't want to go swimming in their pool for a good while either,...that incident left a "tarnished" mark in their minds, AND their swimming pool!..

Yeah,...it's pretty funny to think back on now, but at the time, I felt like a real moron!,.....as I was quickly trying to snag any solids up with the leaf skimmer, all I was really doing was stirring it up more, helping make the entire pool even more cloudy brown!..LOL!
It's funny, my friend and I still talk about that from time to time, even though it was about 28 years ago!
When a huge snake takes a big cloudy crap in your swimming pool, it's not something that's easily forgotten, even after several decades,......everyone that was there that day remembers the incident well!..hahaha!

Genesis 1:1
I was doing basically the came thing with a very mellow trusted red rat (I still call them that) and showing it to some girls. I was trying to show them how calm and nice snakes could be. Just as I was telling them he doesn’t bite, the thing nails me out of no where, like on cue. It bit me three more times as I was trying to explain how he never does that, bite, must just be nervous, bite, having a bad day I guess, bite. Very embarrassing for the snake expert... Made me feel like the stuff on the little girl’s shirt.
Yup .... I was pretty much in the same boat ... a bit embarrassed .... I even had the mom starting to take some interest ...until the fecal matter water park down her daughters blouse lol
Now THAT is too funny!..hahaha!,....I can just picture the scenario in my mind!..LOL!
A very similar thing happened to me(actually a girlfriend) many years back,......I took out a four foot Boa Constrictor that I was recently given by a friend, and one night after we both came back from a nightclub, I decided to break it out and allow it to be held by hopefully her as well........so after I held it for a bit, I suggested that she go ahead and hold it, and explained to her that the snake sees you as nothing more than a "tree branch" to climb on. Well, shortly afterwards, the snake opened it's mouth and clamped down on her forearm while moving it's head from side to side!.......well,...the snake drew a lot of blood, and she was bleeding profusely from the wound, but I was very SHOCKED at how well she took the incident, and she didn't make a real big deal over it at all,.........man!,..did I feel like a complete fool!, but Boy!,....was she ever a "TROOPER"!!,....I had bad visions of her flipping out in my apartment, and waking up the landlord next door, as it was very late at night!,.....man!, was I greatful!!,..she was one tough cookie!!..
