I have finally found a moment in which to get caught up with sharing a couple of our recent litters! This one was delivered on the evening of June 23, and the other that I'll post separately arrived the next morning on June 24.
This Groovy coral-line het albino that we produced in 2004 was bred by a DH sunglow, and had been looking good, but not great. She was one of those that we were just hoping wouldn't completely slug out, would go full term and give us SOME babies - we're not greedy, we don't ask for litters of 30 from all our girls, we only ask that they give us SOME.
And, she did exactly that - mixed in with the 16 slugs, we were very grateful to see 1 sunglow, 5 66% possible DH sunglows, and 2 66% possible het albinos!
The first pic is through the glass and a bit flashed out because mama was a bit.....

.....attentive....

These are some really BIG, robust babies!

Sadly, the little sunglow had a couple of serious spinal deformities and after getting a few pics from his best angles we had no choice but to euthanize him.

Nevertheless, we were very pleased with the SOME that we got - it really does make all the cleanup go much more pleasantly when you know there are new little ones to look at when you're done!

Thanks for looking!
