My blizzard hasn't laid any eggs but she did bulk up...she mated 6 times early in the season but nothing....I don't understand why...should i still try to breed her or call it quits for this year?
Also last year she became egg bound but passed them all and this year nothing... both years she wasn't hibernated. I had hibernated her in the past and she laid good eggs. Next year i will be hibernating them as i now have a place to do it.
Sorry for the long post.....

No,...it's not too late. If you noticed that she "bulked up" a little, this could very well be from her ovulating. Sometimes there is a noticeable swelling in the mid-section when snakes are ovulating,.....maybe she's just a late ovulater?.

I would introduce them to each other just to see what happens,....it certainly can't hurt!. Another possibility is that this might actually be a visual sign of her indeed being gravid??

If you introduce them, and she continually bucks him off, and tail whips him not allowing him to copulate, this could also be a sign that she's already gravid too.

It's hard for me to say, but I'd at least give it another go at this point.

good luck!, ~Doug

It's also possible that she resorbed her eggs.
For whatever reason they sometimes absorb the eggs back into their system. I had a creamsicle do it the season before.
I bred her again and had a good clutch.
It may be too late, it may not be. Give a try and if it doesn't work try brumating next season and make sure you get her well fed before the breeding season.
