I was at my half brothers party and when the excitement died down I went out side to just take a peak where I see alot of snakes some young kids followed me and I looked in a stump and there was a huge copperhead at least 3 feet long. I knew that the kids would let it slip there was copperhead outside so I used two large stickes to move the snake. I moved her about three feet away so I could get a pic. I went to get the camera and one of the kids told the copperhead killing neighbor. I hoped the snake would go on its way. So the neighbor told me to take him to the place I saw the snake so I went in the woods madelots of noise and never saw the snake again if the neighbor had seen it he would have killed it. So in fact I did save a copperhead today. Sorry no pics.
