The Mid-Atlantic Reptile Show is coming up again, September 13&14. It's a captive bred only show, and there's lots of educational material as well. At least one seminar will be by a senior herpetologist at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. The really good part is that show proceeds from admission are donated to purchase and protect rainforest and critical habitat.

I suspect that John Skipper will have his new snow boas there, and I always stock up on frozen pinkies from Three Blind Mice. DNR is also on hand to answer questions, and ya'll may have a few for them, as the regs will likely change this year for many reptiles.

Here are the Saturday night lecture series:

Dr. Charles Innis (Veterinarian and past president of Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians)
Bert Langerwerf (Agama International)
Eugene Meyer (Instructor of Biology at Loyola College) with our "Fabulous Fotos" presentation.
There's a rumor that David Lee of the Tortoise Reserve will also be speaking, but I haven't been able to confirm that.

So far, the MID-ATLANTIC REPTILE SHOW has protected
2,734 acres of critical habitat to date (in its 11th year).

More information can be found at www.reptileinfo.com. I pretty much don't do anything else that weekend except MARS - the Saturday lecture series can last up until 12PM.
