belly dots

in BRB has anyone ever noticed a difference in belly dots? i have some with completely clean bellys (that would mean no dots=clean Aubrey while some others have quite a few greyish marks, coming in a bit from the side, especially down near the tail. Some hidden genetic stuff or? in other species of snakes, for example bally pythons, different colours or markings on the belly can mean something cant it?
