Eating enough?

Hi guys and gals,

Question: I have a young Frilled (9 month old female) I've just introduced her to her new cage - she eats, but not a whole lot. She seems to scarf down about 3-6 crickets a day, is this enough? I thought she'd be eating a lot more than that.
I've tried superworms but she doesn't seem to like them, perhaps there're too big?
Her cage temps are 75 in the cool areas and 95 under her warm one. She's not hugely active. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

steve

If you just got her it may take a few days before she has an appetite. 3 - 6 crickets a day is not normal. If you just moved her into a different cage, she probably just needs time to settle in before she begins eating normally. My female eats about 12-20 crickets a day w/occasional mice and superworms. Once in a while she goes a day without eating anything at all. You can try offering occasional pinkies if she's larger than 12". You might have to make the pinkie(s) look alive. Good luck.
