Cape York Spotted Python babies!

Nokturnel Tom Jun 30, 2008 08:16 PM

FINALLY, I hatched out a few of these little guys. Most people I speak with say these are easy to get eggs from and that hatching the eggs is easy....not for me. I currently have a few hundred colubrid eggs, I have always done well with them but I seem to stink at breeding Pythons
I started with 11 eggs, 2 looked iffy from the get go. When the smoke cleared I have 3 babies out of the egg and one live baby left in the egg. The rest went to poop on me.
I am still happy, this is a small victory but rewarding none the less. I hope the fat one with the connected pattern is a female. I am probably keeping that one.

AWESOME, TOM!!! So nice to see a small python victory for you. I'd say that one is a keeper for sure. Nice stuff.
