Plains Garters Mating (pic) and Question

Here is a pic of a pair of my plains garters mating....I wanted to know since this female has already given birth earlier this year if she will retain the sperm or give birth within the next three months.

I start hibernation in Decemeber and throughout Feb.

I haven't had this happen to me yet so I dont know what to expect.

Those look like easterns, where are they from?

That's because they are easterns. Look at the snakes. Neither animal has the rows of spots just below their lateral stripes, which is typical of radix.

Yea, they might be easterns, I have no clue.....They where sold to me as plains so thats what I go bye........Please someone email me and I will send you pics of them to help me iden. them correctly.
