Black Milks are the COOLEST!

Daniel Klopson Jul 01, 2008 10:17 AM

We have quite a few expensive snakes at our place.... and still... the first snake we want to play with is the black milks! I cant get enough of these snakes... beautiful, big, kid friendly, hardy snakes. I dont consider myself a milk snake keeper... we are boa keeper and breeders..... but it seems to me this may be one of the most understated animals you fellas deal with! Thanks and enjoy the pics... girls like snakes to ya know!Dan.

After posting my comment on it being a big Indigo, I then clicked on Dan's comment, and he said the same thing!..hahaha!

It's funny, without seeing the head, it really DOES resemble one to a tee!..

That's a beautiful animal, Dave! I'm sure its irridesence is spectacular; you've captured some of it in the photo... Do you have a photo of the snake wrapped around the shoulders of someone or held by the tail so we could appreciate its size?

Dniles Jul 02, 2008 08:02 AM

Hey Dan. I don't have a photo of that girl like you described but here is a small hanging from his tail. The male is actually much smaller than the female in both length and girth but this will give you some idea. I need to take new photos of that girl so I don't keep posting the same ones over and over.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Dave. Next time you take some photos of the "monster", have a ladder ready for the shot...!
