Semi Lethargic Beardie

palouch86 Jul 01, 2008 07:30 PM

I have had my 1 yr. old on sand bedding for about 3 months now, and since I have relocated his cage from columbus to cleveland, he has shown semi lethargic behaviors.

He has not been sitting on his basking spot like normal during the day. He still eats like crazy, but after, he walks around and seems perplexed or just stands in the same spot for a while(he used to return immediately to the basking log).

He hasent had a bowel movement in about a week(which happens every now and then), and he eats in a designated, non-sand area.

Any opinions on what I should do? I think he may be coming around now....

Seasonal? Thank you

seasonal? maybe. I'd receck temps. etc. and have a fecal done at the vet to be sure.

Are you sure he didn't just bury his poop in the sand during his running around?

Give him a nice soak and that may prompt him to poop.
