I've got mouses! One aquarium with about 20 females has produced a bumper crop of lovely babies.
Now I need some hints--because once most of them reach hopper stage, I want to freeze, but don't know how to do the killing first.
Please, I'm not a hammer-on-the-head sort of person.
I have 2 snakes who will ONLY eat f-t, in fact, one is so skittish of live mice she actually runs from them, even though she's much larger and it does not matter HOW hungry she might be! She will wolf down an adult f-t in no time flat.
The other one has never been a constrictor, even though he used to eat live pinkies, he would not constrict it first, which surprised me. I thought constricting the prey would be something a snake did naturally (if it's a constrictor). So my concern, especially with him, is that he not get bitten by a live hopper.
What sort of setup do I need to prep mice for freezing?
