Shipping question...

macajuel Jul 02, 2008 11:30 AM

I want to ship a baby boa to a family member in North Carolina. I live in NY. I have a box, popcorn, heat pack, and a container to put the boa in. Is that good enough?

Also, I dont have one of those UPS permits to ship "Harmless Snakes", I am not a breeder and wont be shipping often so do I need to go through all of that to ship one snake or should I just do it and play dumb if they say something.

Thanks for any help and assistance.

I would try to find someone in your area who is a registered shipper to ship it for you.

the process to become certified with Fed Ex is free, you just need to go through a few steps, takes a couple of weeks.

outside of doing that, i agree, find someone local who is a shipper, and ask them for a favor!

problems tend to happen when you really don't want them to... play it safe!
