So I finally got a male black pine snake

LoKii Jul 02, 2008 07:52 PM

So I get home from work today to find out that my wife had ordered me a male black opine from HomeGrownHerps! I was shocked! This guy is soo tiny! I can't waite to breed my female black pine to him when they are old enough! Here are a few pics of my female black pine I got from Tokaysarenice last year. I will post pics of my male after he settles in!

*If Jerry happens to read this post some pics of your black pines from Isis, I would love to see how they are turning out.

I love black pines! I just don't understand why they are not more popular? You would think people would want a big beautiful black snake that does not cost an arm and a leg. Who Knows! Your black pine is beautiful!

They're quite popular. I can't produce enough to cover all the people who e-mail me wanting them. If you breed those things, you'll have no trouble selling the offspring.

Nice one Lokii,
She's nice and thick. How old/big is she?

Here is my 07 male. He is pushing 500 grams now, and chowing down weanling rats.

She is an 07 and not exactly sure how thick she is, but she is a pretty heft girl I must say! My new male looks like a little worm compared to her! Its so hard to find breeders with black pines for sale! My wife finally lucked out and found a male after I had been searching for a couple of months
