Yesterday I was checking on one of my litters of mice that are about 2 weeks old. One of the girls who was the first to open her eyes was lying on her back and looking dead. When I touched her she moved very slowly and her tail started shaking like she had Parkinsons (sp). Other thing I noticed after a little bit of moving her around is that she wouldn't close her eyes even when I touched them they were open. I left her for for a few hours hoping she would go back to normal, but when I came back things looked just as bad. She was trying to feed but it looked like she couldn't find the nipple. then all of a sudden she started bouncing around like she was having convulsions. At that point I put her down.
Have any of you seen something like this?
