I have mine in a 10G and am thinking about adding some live plants as opposed to the fake ones I have. What are some of your reccomendations as far as plants that do not need that much light and/or space.. thanks!

Pothos plants are what do best in my terrariums. They can handle moderate light and are pretty hardy. There are several varities - green, golden, and two-tone. I use pothos for my newts, tiger salamanders, barking treefrogs and alligator lizards. The only snakes I've used them with are garters, but I think they'd work with corns, though once the corn gets to 30 inches or so, it may end up destroying the plant.

Pothos works for corns, but you might want to have a sturdy branch in there to wrap it around, giving it some strength against the weight of a snake body. ^_^

When I was buying plants for my cornsnakes' cages, I looked for really strong, sturdy plants. One that I came up with is a bonsai tree, but it's not a pine-type. The trunks are woven together, making them about five inches wide and certainly sturdy enough for an adult cornsnake.
