Balls and injectible vitamins

littleleeper23 Jul 05, 2008 10:17 AM

Hey Yall, Just curious has anyone here tried injectible vitamins for BPs.....If so do you know the proper dosing..... I have a couple of REALLY reluctant feeders and thought a little vitamin dose may give them the boost they need to get going again..... I really have tried everything except soft furred and those are not available to me. Small cages, big cages, bag tricks, bedding vs. paper, F/T mice rats FKs live you name it. I have a couple of juvie animals eating monthly or less and this is not productive! Thanks and God Bless, Lee

It sounds like you have more than one sporadic or bad eater, and if that is the case, chances are your husbandry is wrong or off in some way. Having one or two bad eaters in a collection is understandable, but when you have many, chances are it's your fault. I would seriously consider looking to your husbandry as the potential culprit as to why you have so many "sketchy" eaters.
