Question for B.c.c. breeders???

kcpits Jul 05, 2008 12:42 PM

I have this male that a friend of mine had, he is huge for a breeding male over seven feet and fat as a hog. I have trimmed him down quite a bit but still a way to go. My question is what experiance have any of you had with larger males? I have always had my males smaller.

here he is..

I'm not experienced, first litter just born two days ago. But, the male I used is 7.5 feet and stocky (muscular). He's 4 years old, so should be old enough, but there were an awful lot of slugs. I don't know if that has to do with his size, or just him being not-so-fertile.

If he's got hemipenes, he should breed with no problems. Whether or not the Female takes it any further is another topic altogether. This boy is over 8ft. and will be paired with a few Females this season

I love that cryptic look. Have you used him before?

Nope, but who knows what he's come across running through the wilderness here in Florida. He will be paired with this Female if I still have her though.
