It looked cleaner than just a spider/butter.

-Ohh, what a Lady-
Absoluely beautiful Bill! I really like the creamy white and black/dark brown markings. One of the very best looking bee combos IMHO.
We hatched a male "sputter," or some call them "queen bees," this year also. We were tossing the dice to try to get either a kingpin or a queen bee with multiple males to a butter female - I'm glad we produced the queen bee after seeing our little one and yours.

I thought "Sputters" were Spider X Butters and "Queen Bees" were Bumblebee Lessers.....

My bad . . . you are absolutely correct. I looked it up and a sputter is a spider and a butter; a queen bee = a butter or lesser and a bee (or a pastel butter/lesser and a spider).
Mine is a queen bee from my bee to a butter.
